Martha Stewart Living for the Millennials

I was so impressed with the thought and vision of this site that I am compelled to recommend it to you. Whether you are interested in finding a rental apartment in Manhattan or a rental in Brooklyn, you’ve going to be looking at bare, mostly white or off white walls. You need to turn those walls into a home. Design*Sponge cnq give you the inspiration to do that for not very much money.

width=224I’ve rented apartments many times in my years. One of my favorites was the dark cave I had on 84th Street on the corner of Amsterdam Avenue. An old walkup that was, as you might guess, quite dark and tiny. A one bedroom that was the size of a decent studio apartment. But inspiration struck! With bright colors and simple furnishings to accent the colors, the place was turned into an inviting home. Decorating shouldn’t be hard. But it takes time. Peruse Design*Sponge for instant inspiration.
