Don't make this your next apartment rental in New York

Kudos to NYC’s Public Advocate, Bill de Blasio. His 3rd annual list of the city’s worst landlords and worst buildings is available for inspection. This year’s worst list includes 317 landlords who own 358 buildings.

245 Sullivan Place in Crown Heights is listed as the building with the most violations – 650 of them. Tenants struggle with roaches, rats, crumbling ceilings, mold, exposed wiring, lack of heat, hot water and even electricity in some apartments.

Josh Neustein of 1071 Home Corp. has the “honor” of being listed as the city’s worst landlord, with nearly 1,200 violation in his eight buildings.

You can see Mr. de Blasio’s website of NYC’s Worst Landlords here.
